Steps are the part of a project people notice first and use most. A front entry with the wrong rise, a loose tread or a landing that is too small makes the whole entrance feel wrong.
We build steps and stairs in bluestone, pavers and block: front entries, short flights between a patio and a lawn, and steps that turn a sloping yard into usable levels. Treads are set on a compacted base and finished to match the surrounding surface.
If the existing steps are moving or the risers are uneven, we will look at whether the problem is the steps themselves or the ground under them.
