A retaining wall is a structural piece of work. It holds back soil, and if it is built without the right base, drainage and block, it will lean or fail.
We build walls in segmental block, natural stone and veneered block, from low garden walls to taller walls that create a level patio or a raised planting bed. Behind the wall we use the right drainage and backfill so water does not build up pressure.
Not every wall needs an engineer, but height, soil and load decide how it should be built. If your wall is more than a low garden wall, we will say so in the estimate and explain the options.
