A fire pit extends the use of a patio into the evening and into the cooler months. It can be a simple stone ring or a built-in feature with a seating wall, and either way it has to sit on a surface that stays level and stable.
We build fire pits in block and stone, with paver patios and seating walls around them where the layout allows. The base is prepared like any other hardscape, and the pit is positioned with the wind, the seating and the distance from the house in mind.
If you want a gas line or an insert, we will tell you what has to be prepared before the pit is built so the finished feature works the way you expect.
